The implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the eGovernment of Zanzibar (eGAZ) and HSP Software Technology (based in Istanbul, Turkey) is a significant milestone towards 100% digital governance transformation in Zanzibar. The President of Zanzibar, H.E Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, has consciously made digital economic transformation a key pillar of his campaign. Implementing our partnership framework with HSP Software and Technologies brings global experience and expertise to our table. We aim to further leverage their global experience in e-health, solar car manufacturing and largely innovative financing options for critical infrastructure projects in Zanzibar. We are delighted that HSP Software and Technologies are expressing interest in working with us to implement a digital SEZ infrastructure that will have a huge impact on the African continent and make Zanzibar a prime destination for tourism and investment. Finally, we believe that by partnering with HSP Software and Technology, we will be able to take advantage of the opportunities of the Turkish private sector more than imitating their TechnoPark models, which will greatly contribute to the promotion of our startups.
